Wearing Your Phoenix on Your sleeve
In this month’s issue of the University of Chicago alumni magazine, there is a temporary tattoo stencil you can print out on page 9.
The tattoo, picture left, is meant to convey the love only a Maroon can have for the old alma mater when it is too hot (as it will be in June during Alumni weekend) to wear sleeves.
I will totally get this tattoo once I get a hard copy of the magazine in the mail. Also, as soon as my upper arm is muscular enought to do it justice.

That doesn’t look like our school crest! The tablet is supposed to be ABOVE the phoenix. And is the “Crescat Scientia” even legible on that rippling bicep? I think the prospie committee should offer a cash incentive for any alum willing to ink this for real.
