The King is dead. Long live the King.
The thing about these Elvis sunglasses is that they look good on everybody. Like the little black dress or a crisp white shirt, this super 70s take on the aviator silhouette (flattering to any face shape, in my opinion) has long been associated with the excesses of Elvis’s last years. They’re not tacky — no, more like decadent. Luxurious, even. And in these long days of summer, they could be a lot handier than a long satin scarf, a white studded jumpsuit, or any of the other clothing accessories associated with the man I still respectfully refer to as “The King”.
